-Who are these mean-looking guys? Are they real "police"?

  (험상궂게 보이는 이놈들 누구요? 진짜 “경찰” 맞아요?)

-Yes, they are.

 (네, 맞습니다. ).

-Which country is this?

(이게 어느 나라지요?)

-Republic of Korea. Americans call South Korea.

(대한민국이랍니다. 미국사람들은 남한이라 부르지요).

-Oh, they all speak English, uh?

(그 나라 사람들 다 영어하지요? 그렇지요?)

-No, they have their own language for several thousand years.

(아닙니다. 그 사람들 수천년 자기네 말을 가지고 있어요).

-Then, they do not have their own letters, right?

(그럼 자기네 문자는 없는 모양이지요? 그렇지요?)

-Yes, they do. They have Hangul, a most scientific phonetic writing system in the world that anyone can read and write within a few hours.

(자기네 글이 있답니다. 한글이라고 해서 누구나 몇 시간내에 읽고 쓸 수 있는 세계에서 가장 과학적인 유음문자가 있습니다).

-Then, how come?

(그럼 어떻게 된거지요?)

-Look them carefully. Actually you can find Korean word, 경찰 (police) on their chest. But the government (and some absurd elites) seems to think English is global and cool and Korean letters shameful and useless.

(사진을 자세히 보세요. 사실 그들 가슴에 "경찰"이라는 한글이 보이지요? 그러나 한국정부 (그리고 일부 얼빠진 엘리트 그룹사람들)는 영어가 세계적이고 근사하고 한글은 챙피하고 불필요하다고 생각하는 모양입니다).

-Why?

(왜 그렇지요?)

-Well, a long sad story. They simply sold their souls for a few bucks!!

(아, 이야기가 슬프고 깁니다. 간단하게 말하자면 사람들이 돈 좀 벌려고 자기 영혼을 팔아 먹은거지요!!)
